Credentials & affiliations

FDOT. Fully certified in-house FDOT laboratory, approved for quality control and assurance programs and Superpave asphalt mix designs.

CTQP. Our technicians hold current Construction Training Qualification Program certifications, which FDOT requires for acceptance testing on state projects.

BTR Foundations. The foundation repair arm of Bechtol. A.B. Chance certified crews install the helical anchor systems our Engineers design.

FBPE. Our Engineers are licensed by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. The seal is what building departments, lenders, insurers, and courts require.

A depression opened at a historic property in the heart of DeLand. We drilled deep enough to find the solution cavity in the limestone, designed the grouting program, and drilled again to prove it held.

Engineering and drilling work covers the entire state. DeLand puts most of Central and Northeast Florida within two hours, and with all five rig types available, we can mobilize anywhere in Florida. Construction materials testing covers a two-hour radius of DeLand. Find your county

Is Bechtol licensed, and who signs the reports?

We are a Florida-licensed engineering firm with three licensed Professional Engineers and one Engineer Intern on staff. A PE reviews and seals every report that leaves the office, and that seal is what building departments, lenders, and insurers require.
